Diana Lorenzana met with Houston firefighters downtown. Earlier this month, she was driving, passed out and crashed her car. When paramedics arrived, she had no pulse. They brought her back to life, treating her with a hypothermia procedure that minimized damage.
Diana wants other women to know that heart attacks can happen to them.
"It can be your daughter, your wife, your sister, anybody that is not aware that heart attacks can happen to someone like me," she said.
The meeting was part of the American Heart Sssociation's 'Go Red' campaign to help women fight heart disease.
