Auto store clerk held up at gunpoint

Crime Stoppers and Harris County Sheriff's robbery investigators are asking the public's help with information leading to the solution of a January 6, 2009, robbery in southwest Harris County.The suspect walked into an auto parts store in the 14400 block of Auto Park Way at noon that Tuesday. He asked the store clerk for a vehicle part and then pointed a pistol at him, demanding money.

The clerk gave him and undetermined amount of cash, and the suspect walked out of the store. He was seen driving away in a light green Oldsmobile vehicle. Surveillance cameras captured the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, 18-25 years old, 5'10" - 6' tall, 150-180 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white sweatshirt with small horizontal black stripes, a black ball cap with a "P" in front, black pants, and black and white athletic shoes, possibly Adidas.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information called in to the Crime Stoppers TIPS hotline at 713-222-8477 or submitted online at www.crime-stoppers.org that leads to the identification, arrest and/or charging of any suspect in this case. All tipsters remain anonymous.
