That wreck happened Saturday night on Highway 59 at the Highway 242 exit. Police say the driver crashed into a concrete divider that splits the ramp from the main highway. The truck burst into flames.

"It's a multitude of causes that are putting these big trucks up on that barrier, whether they are avoiding other vehicles (or something else)," explained Joe Schultea with the Patton Village Police Department. "This is a dark intersection, a dark highway here where this freeway splits off."

The driver suffered a cut to his head. He was alert and able to talk to police.

The crash shut down a section of the highway for several hours. The debris has been cleared and crews have re-opened the highway. The cause of the wreck remains investigation.
