Routine traffic stop turns into brief chase

Investigators say an officer tried to pull over an SUV that ran a stop sign last night. The driver kept going until he jumped out of the vehicle at Falls near Jewett. Officers brought out K-9 units and a helicopter but couldn't find the man.

A passenger who stayed in the SUV was not arrested.
