Apollo Theater celebrates anniversary

Over the years, there have been many bad acts who left the stage to boos that had to sting worse than anything Simon Cowell might say on Idol. Tonight marks the 75th anniversary of Amateur Night.

The theater's Web site has a list of all of the stars past and present who can claim they survived Amateur Night, launching their careers in the process.
