The district says 19 drivers were tested on Tuesday. They say the driver in question blew between a .039 and .08. The latter number is the legal limit for intoxication, but the driver was suspended for a day without pay, according to district policy.
Pearland ISD released a statement saying the driver's daily performance is being monitored, and the driver has been reassigned to a non-driving position pending a determination by the Department of Public Safety.
