Needville student wins hair fight

A federal judge ruled Wednesday that Needville ISD violated the Constitution and state law by punishing Adriel Arocha, 5, for his religious beliefs.

Needville ISD had a dress code that required boys to keep their hair short. But Arocha's parents said cutting his hair would violate their native American beliefs.
