Fire truck sirens wake up apt. residents

There was a big scare this morning for some residents of a northwest Houston apartment complex. They woke up to the sound of fire trucks.[SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

It happened on Antoine near West Gulf Bank. The mailboxes of the Chesapeake Village Apartments caught on fire. The flames quickly spread to the maintenance shop, and then to the leasing office.

No apartment units were damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
