Elizabeth Petersen

HOUSTON After graduating from Indiana University, she pursued a career in real estate with both CB Richard Ellis and the Michael Group.

Elizabeth's dedication to charitable service began by watching her parents and their commitment to community service. Her own charitable work started in high school and continued in college.

Elizabeth has co-chaired the Center Serving Persons of Mental Retardation luncheon and the Children's Assessment Center luncheon. She and her husband co-chaired the Houston Museum of Natural Science gala in 2008. They also chaired the "Circle of Life" gala for Memorial Hermann Hospital, which raised $2.85 million. In 2009, Elizabeth will co-chair the March of Dimes November-fest.

She currently serves on the guild members' board for the CAC, the Houston Museum of Natural Science board of directors and volunteers with many other organizations.

Elizabeth believes that she has been enormously blessed and is honored to have worked with many fine charitable organizations.
