Meth lab leftovers force evacuation

The constable and district attorney were doing inventory of evidence in a storage room, when they opened a safe containing meth lab equipment. The items were in bad condition, and the highly explosive chemicals were giving off a foul odor. The building was evacuated.

"Some of the chemicals had already started reacting with each other," explained Constable Rowdy Haden with Montgomery County Precinct 4. "We notified the Montgomery County SIU and the DEA. They came out and brought their HazMat team out."

No one was hurt. The chemicals will be properly disposed of.
