Ambulance flips with patient inside

It happened on the 610 South Loop at Scott yesterday. Investigators say the driver was transporting a patient and his mother to the hospital when he dozed off and ran off the roadway, lost control and rolled the vehicle over.

The driver and the patient's mother went to the hospital with minor injuries. The ambulance belonged to a private company.
