It happened around 8:30am at the Huntsman Chemical Plant on FM1485. A company spokesman tells the Courier of Montgomery County that the blast involved a storage tank which holds a nonhazardous chemical used in detergents and fabric softeners.
Emergency crews had the incident under control shortly after it happened. No one was hurt.
