The Aldine Independent School District says the bus was bound for Plummer Middle School on Wednesday when the accident happened in northwest Harris County.

The children were transported to two hospitals. District officials say the injuries were not considered serious.

Deputies say two vehicles hit the bus, on the side and from behind, after one allegedly went through a stop sign.

One driver is expected to face charges of failing to yield, while the other was cited for failure to control speed.
