Plane makes emergency landing at Bush IAH

An Chautauqua Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Houston this morning. [SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

The airline, which is in partnership with Continental Alrines, had left Houston en route to Louisville. the flight returned to Bush Intercontinental this morning around 8am when smoke was discovered in the cockpit. The plane landed safely and the 33 passengers onboard were evacuated without incident.

No one was injured and Houston firefighters managed to put the fire out in less than ten minutes.

There's still no word on what started the fire.
