Clear Creek ISD parent honored

LEAGUE CITY, TX "I recommended Diana for the award for Region IV parent of the year because she is so deserving of being honored," said Debi Taylor, Coordinator of the gifted program. "She always kept the positive persistent approach and served the organization, the parents, the children and our community as a great leader to build the parent group. We are so fortunate to have parents such as Diana to support the programs and efforts for the gifted children in CCISD."

Chase served as President and Vice President of the parent organization CASE (Communicate, Advocate, Support and Educate). During her time as an officer membership increased and opportunities were created to educate parents about Gifted Education.

Chase was also active in TAGT and encouraged parents to be active members to help gifted children in CCISD as well as in the state of Texas.

The Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented is among the largest non-profit organizations of its kind and serves 3,000 educators and parents who are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of gifted and talented students.
