It's about as solid as most politicians' promises to lower your taxes and be more ethical than their opponents. The Jackson 5 are talking about getting back together. This time, the promise is being made by Jermaine Jackson. he tells Australian Associated Press plans are already in the works to get the family together for a reunion tour. And yes, he says, it will include the family's biggest hit-maker, Michael, as well as baby sister Janet. One thing Jermaine says that you can bank on: he says the reunion tour "has been a long time coming."

The Jackson 5 first burst on the public scene in the 1970s with hits like "I Want You Back." Michael Jackson branched off to launch a solo career, as did Jermaine. Since then, they got back together for a tour in the early 1980s, but since then there has been more reunion talk than action.
