HPD officer injured during chase

HOUSTON Investigators say the officer was chasing a suspect who refused to pull over on I-10 near downtown Houston. When the officer entered the Eastex exit ramp, he lost control and hit the guard rail. The suspect got away.

Shortly after that, an 18-wheeler driver was ticketed for clipping the back of that officer's car. The officer was not in the vehicle.
