Two shootings in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX Detectives say Jeffrey Sharp, 14, was struck in the base of his neck by a bullet as he sat on the couch next to his brother at their Friar Tuck Road home near Magnolia. Sharp spent Thursday in surgery at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.

Investigators say the suspect was likely in a car or truck that drove by and fired the shots striking him. Flying glass also injured his older brother Wednesday night.

Another report came just minutes earlier a couple miles away on Sandy Hill at FM 1486 when a woman's vehicle was struck by a bullet. Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies are asking anyone who has information to please call Crime Stoppers at 800-392-STOP.
