Boy, have times changed at Davis High School. The Panthers went into Saturday's game against Reagan 5 and 0. It was 15 years ago this week they broke an 80 game losing streak, that's eight seasons without a win.

Head Coach Chuck Arnold was there then, he's there now and winning is a lot more fun.

To the game where Davis gets 85 yards on eight carries from Chris Phillips. Four went for scores, three in the 1st half to give the panthers a 21-0.

Then quarterback John Castillo took over.

Castillo 12 of 20 for right at 200 yards through the air connects with Patrick Cheniere on touchdowns from 7 and 21 yards out.

Four seconds to go before the break. Castillo closes out the first half with a 38 yard touchdown to Chris Pruitt. Pruitt down the sideline and stretches for the goal line. It's 35-0 Davis at the break.

Panthers defense also strong. They allow just 15 yards rushing, Bulldogs with a little over 100 yards of total offense.

Allen Roy and Deandre Roberts with interceptions of the players.

After the game all give credit to the Davis coaches for their success and it all starts at practice.

Panthers win 49-0 they improve to 6-0 and play Waltrip this weekend.
