Palin making pitch for late rally

LANCASTER, PA The GOP vice presidential nominee told a packed baseball stadium in Lancaster she's counting on supporters to "step up to the plate" and turn "an underdog into a victor."

Palin has been hitting Democratic nominee Barack Obama on taxes, among other issues. She calls the race between Obama and John McCain a "choice between a politician who puts his faith in government and a leader who puts his faith in you."

She also repeated a call for the Obama campaign to disclose contacts with the group ACORN, which is facing scrutiny for its voter registration efforts in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
