A 20-year-old man was injured when a car slammed into a bedroom at the front of his house. The driver of the car was also taken to the hospital. Police said that the car crashed into the house about noon Saturday.

Cody Galofaro was pinned under the car until firefighters could remove him, police said.

The Dallas Morning News reports in its Sunday online editions that Galofaro and the driver, 41-year-old Tammy McFadden of Allen, were both taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital. Both were in serious condition Sunday, a hospital official said.

Galofaro's wife and mother, as well as a child, were home at the time, but no one else in the house was hurt, Allen police Sgt. Jon Felty told the newspaper.
