Gators rescued after Ike to be released

HOUSTON Volunteers from the Gator Country adventure park rescued 31 of the animals in the days after Ike hit. Because of all the flooding from the Gulf, the alligators were in saltwater and getting sick. They were brought to the park in Fannett and placed in fresh water.

They will soon be released back into the wild.
