Beating victim found stripped in open field

HOUSTON A maintenance employee from a nearby apartment complex spotted the victim, a man in his 60s, and called police. Officers found the victim, shirtless and his pants pulled down to his ankles, under a tree in the 700 block of Corporate Drive.

The victim suffered blunt force trauma to the head and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. His identity has not been released.
