Flooding has stranded some people in Orange and nearby Bridge City, where Ike's storm surge sent water into streets early Saturday morning after flooding on the Sabine River and Adams Bayou.

Orange Mayor Brown Claybar tells The Beaumont Enterprise that the city's business district is "devastated."

Convoys are staging at Texas Highway 62 and Texas Highway 87 to help rescue people stranded in Bridge City. Claybar says he expects help from the National Guard.

The storm surge unearthed about 100 caskets from the Hollywood Cemetery in Orange County.
