She calls the situation "pretty gross." She's been married to her drummer, Ashwin Sood, for 11 years. They have two daughters: six-year-old India and 14-month-old Taja Summer.
McLachlan has written two songs for "Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan," which comes out October 7th. She says "U Want Me 2" is about "that really uncertain, confusing place at the end of a relationship," and "Don't Give Up" is "a plea to give it another chance and keep trying."
