Festivals feature body art

It's not tattoos, but a temporary type of art displayed, using models as living, breathing human canvases. Recently, body painting has been featured at festivals including the 4th World Body Art Encounter in Caracas, on September 3, 2008, the 2008 World Body Painting Festival in Daegu, South Korea, on August 29, 2008, and a two day open air body-art festival in the town of Kazanlak, east of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, held at the end of August. That festival is part of the celebration of the Thracian kings holidays, in the town which is situated over the Thracian kings valley.
