A man who witnessed a store break-in helped police by following the thieves until officers could chase them down. Late last night two men broke into a liquor store on FM 1960 and Eldridge. They loaded everything into a van and took off. Officers finally stopped them on West Orem near the Fort Bend Toll Road.

"I was sitting in the parking lot when they pulled up and a guy busted the window. I followed them until the police got there," said eyewitness Duron Wright.

The chase lasted more than half an hour and about 20 units were involved. Both men were caught and arrested.
