Bank robber takes hostages, kills self

TUCSON, AZ Police spokesman Sgt. Mark Robinson says no hostages appear to have been injured in the Monday incident.

He says the unidentified gunman took money from a teller Monday afternoon. He was leaving the bank when he saw a county prosecutor's office investigator who was coming in to do some banking, and ran back inside.

Robinson says the man briefly took several people hostage but had released all but a few bank employees when he killed himself.
