The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the "Flirting Felon" who robbed the First Convenience Bank located inside the Kroger store at 18515 Kuykendahl in Houston, Texas on August 26, 2008. The "Flirting Felon's" opening line to the teller was, "Hey, little mama, what's up?" At approximately 7:10pm, the "Flirting Felon" entered the bank and then nervously walked out of the bank after being greeted by the tellers. Minutes later, the "Flirting Felon" returned with confidence and attempted to strike up a conversation with one of the tellers. He opened the conversation with, "Hey, little mama, what's up?"

When the conversation went nowhere, the "Flirting Felon" calmly demanded cash from the teller. He then stated, "I want to make this a smooth transaction so no one gets hurt!"

The tellers complied and the "Flirting Felon" took the cash and left the area on foot. No one was physically hurt during the robbery.

The "Flirting Felon" is described as a black male, approximately 20-25 years old, 5'5"-5'8" tall, 150-170 pounds with a slim build and a dark complexion. He wore a white "White Sox" baseball cap, sunglasses, a white t-shirt, and red shorts. During the robbery, he also had a white towel covering one of his hands as if to conceal a weapon. However, no weapon was observed by the tellers.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of the "Flirting Felon". If you have information about this case, you're asked to call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 713-222-TIPS (8477), or the Houston office of the FBI at 713-693-5000.
