Home alone kids robbed by fake workers

FRESNO, TX According to Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies, around 3:15pm Monday, two children, ages 16 and 6, were home alone when three suspects wearing blue construction hats knocked at the front door of the home on Liberty Square Trail in Fresno.

The suspects said they were with a service provider for the water heater and asked to enter the home in order to repair it. The children said they were unable to let the men in and attempted to close the door when one of the suspects displayed a handgun and forced his way in.

The three armed suspects commanded the children to lie on the floor near the living room. As one suspect stood guard, the other two searched the home for money and other valuables. The suspects fled the residence, possibly on foot, with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspects are described as follows:

  • Suspect I: Black male, approximately 5'5" to 5'7" tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with a heavy build. The suspect was wearing a blue construction hard hat and had tattoos covering his left arm and a few tattoos on the right arm.
  • Suspect II: Black male, approximately 5'10" to 6'2" in height, thin build, and wearing a blue construction hard hat with a camouflage mask covering half the face.
  • Suspect III: Black male, approximately 5'5" to 5'7" tall, heavy build, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, black shirt, and blue jean shorts.
