Shooting call leads police to immigrants

HOUSTON Sheriff's deputies responded to a call about the gunfire on Hillsboro in east Harris County this morning. When they approached the teen on the driveway, he ran into the house. At that time, three people jumped out of a window and started running.

All four were arrested. Deputies then entered the house.

"We discovered approximately 11 Central Americans, possibly here illegally, and held against their will in a small back room," said Sgt. Mauro Alvarado with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Federal agents were called in to detain the immigrants. All of them were men in good health. Deputies also confiscated four weapons inside the home.
