A driver rammed into a house in Stafford overnight, trapping a woman.Pat Semmelrogge was sitting on a couch watching TV when the van plowed into her living room at the home on Sword Bend near Staffordshire. Sheetrock and bricks were knocked loose in the crash and landed on the woman.

It took rescuers 15 minutes to free the woman. She has only minor injuries, including cuts and bruises.

Investigators say the crash could have been much worse, and the driver might not have been going very fast.

"I think he can do all that with about five or ten miles an hour. It's a pretty heavy car," said Captain Jody Court with the Stafford Fire Department.

The driver, Thomas Pena, apparently lives just down the street. Police do not suspect drugs or alcohol.
