Price tag put on syrup spill

You'll recall a huge molasses spill in Sugar Land we told you about last Thursday. Now, that city is ready to send a local company a bill for the clean-up. Five-thousand gallons worth of molasses spilled on Highway 6 near the Southwest Freeway. Police say the truck driver turned too wide and hit a curb. So his company, JC Express Trucking, will receive a bill for more than $12,000 to clean it up.

The driver also received a ticket for speeding.
