Teen fights would-be abductor

A teen walking her bike was nearly the victim of a kidnapping in Fort Bend County.Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies say the 15-year-old victim said was leaving Walgreen's located at State Highway 6 near Teal Bend around 6:30pm Monday, and seeing that the tire on her bicycle went flat she began to walk her bike home. Shortly thereafter, an older model red convertible Mustang with a black top stopped near her location of Teal Bend Blvd. and Rabb Rd. A man rolled down the passenger window and asked her what her name was and where she lived.

When the victim did not give him any information, the driver got out of the vehicle and approached her. She placed the bike between the driver and herself when he grabbed her arms with both his hands and began pulling her towards his vehicle and demanded she get into the car. The victim then reportedly dropped her bike, kicked the man in the groin, causing him to fall to the ground, and then rode off on her bike. As she proceeded to ride away, she turned her head and observed the driver stagger to his vehicle and drive away.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 50 to 60. He was approximately 6'00" tall, weighing 200 - 250 pounds, medium build, had gray hair with a gray beard and mustache. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
