Teen stabbed allegedly by sister's ex

HOUSTON It happened on Gessner around 10:15pm, Authorities say Steven Burley, 14, of Houston. He was stabbed one time in the chest. He was transported to Texas Children's Hospital in serious condition. Investigators say a female suspect, 23, reported to be the ex-girlfriend of Burley's sister, is being sought for questioning at this time.

The victim and his sister were walking on North Gessner when they were confronted by a female suspect who had a past relationship with the victim's sister. When the victim apparently stepped into the street, the female suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed him.
