Fire causes damage in NE Houston

Fire damaged a home and nearby structures in northeast Houston yesterday. It happened yesterday evening. Investigators say the fire began after workers started burning wooden pallets off Exeter and Norlinda..

Some cats died as a result of the flames. Firefighters did save the lives of two pets by giving them oxygen. No people were injured.
