Lightning throws man 15 feet from tree

HOUSTON Harry Millirons was painting in the Garden Oaks area when the storm blew in. He says it was blowing so hard he could barely stand, so he took cover under a tree. That's when a bolt of lightning struck two nearby trees. Millirons says he was thrown about fifteen feet.

"At first everything was numb. It was like just being numb. My ears were ringing," said Millirons.

He was checked out by medics, other than a few cuts and bruises, he's OK.
