Police: Man stabs girlfriend to death

HOUSTON This happened at an apartment complex on S. Course and Beechnut around midnight. Investigators say the woman came home from work and got into an argument with her boyfriend. That's when he allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed her.

Police say the man took the victim's three-month-old child. Police tracked the suspect down using his cell phone and arrested him. The child was not harmed.

Authorities say the couple had a history of domestic violence.
