Professor accused of stalking daughter's ex

HOUSTON Investigators tell us Dr. Pavel Nizin has been making telephone threats to his daughter's former fiancé for several months after she committed suicide. Prosecutors say Nizin's daughter Olga killed herself after the couple broke up last year.

Nizin pleaded no contest to charges of stalking in a Michigan court. That's where the fiancé's family lived. Sentencing is next month.

Leaders with Baylor College of medicine would only say this is a "personal matter" for the professor. Nizin has done extensive research in radiation therapy and also taught at Harvard University.
