Astros, Methodist Hospital to host blood drive

The Astros will join the Eileen Murphree McMillin Blood Center at The Methodist Hospital and Aramark in the first of two community blood drives at Minute Maid park on Saturday.The blood drive is open to those who are 17 and older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and in generally good health. Those who donate or attempt to donate will receive an Astros T-shirt and a half-price coupon redeemable for tickets to a future Astros home game.

Donors need not possess a game ticket to donate blood; however, they must have a game ticket if they plan to attend Saturday's 6:05pm game against the New York Yankees.
