Astros ejected in game vs. Brewers

HOUSTON Ausmus was the first to go, after Mike Cameron checked his swing on a 2-2 pitch from Astros reliever Chris Sampson. Ausmus pointed down to Campos for an appeal and Campos ruled that Cameron had stopped his swing in time.

Angered by the call, Ausmus yelled at Campos and walked toward first base to confront him. Cooper intervened, but Ausmus was thrown out and replaced by Humberto Quintero.

Cameron eventually walked and a few moments later, Sampson threw to first on a close pick-off attempt. Campos ruled him safe and as Berkman argued, Cooper came out of the dugout again.

Cooper was then ejected and slammed his cap at Campos' feet before leaving the field. It was Cooper's fourth ejection of the season and the second time he'd been thrown out by Campos.
