Massive blaze rips through apartment complex

HOUSTON SkyEye HD was over the scene on Timber Creek Place and Highway 6. The blaze broke out just after 2pm at the Towne Lake apartment homes. Firefighters battled the blaze from the ground and from above, spraying water from their ladders. The fire all but destroyed the top floor of the 3-floor building.

We're told about 14 residents have been displaced. No injuries were reported and there's no word on a cause.
