LA PORTE, TX Investigators say James Robert White was shot at a home on Winding Trail near Farrington in La Porte last night. He told police he'd gotten in an argument with a man he identified as Brandon Campbell.
Campbell reportedly tried to kill himself in the front yard, but he only grazed himself with the bullet and drove off instead.
Police put out a vehicle description, and Campbell was later arrested in northeast Houston. White is in serious condition.
