'Hard-hatted handyman' hits Houston bank

HOUSTON At approximately 3:35pm, the robber entered the bank alone dressed in a construction worker's jumpsuit and hard hat. But this handyman was hardly friendly. He walked up to the teller counter, demanded money, and threatened to shoot the teller if she did not turn over the cash. He left the area in a gray colored vehicle, possibly a Pontiac, with lightly tinted windows.

The "Hard-Hatted Handyman" is described as a black male, approximately 40 to 45 years old, 5'9" – 6'tall, 220 pounds with a solid build, dark complexion and a mustache. He wore a gray hard hat, dark sunglasses, and a gray colored jumpsuit.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of the "Hard-Hatted Handyman."
