Outpouring of support for local teen

HOUSTON There has been an outpouring of help for 18-year-old Kristin Elliott, who hopes to build an orphanage in Africa.

"I have raised over $60,000 so I have enough to definitely build my house, and extra money to do other stuff in Zambia," said Kristin.

Kristin survived two bouts with cancer, and helps orphans in Mexico and Africa. She plays volleyball at Faith West High School.
