Attack caught on surveillance video

HOUSTON In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 6, an unknown white or Hispanic male violently assaulted the clerk at the Exxon station at 4255 N. Highway 6. The man was driving a gray SUV with a license plate that included the letters '04VG.' He tried to get inside, but the doors were locked. So he went to the night window and tried to buy cigarettes.

When the clerk asked the man for ID, the man became angry. He forced his way inside and attacked the clerk, who suffered severe head injuries.

The suspect is described as a White or Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, about 6' tall, 160-170 pounds, with blond hair cut extremely close. He was wearing jeans, white athletic shoes, and a white tee shirt. The suspect had tattoos on both forearms.
