Astros holding Lemonade Day sign-ups

HOUSTON All youth who register at Minute Maid Park must be accompanied by a parent or another adult sponsor and must hold a ticket to an Astros home game on April 18, 19 or 20. Registration will take place before game time and through the third inning in each of the weekend's games.

Lemonade Day, which will be held on May 4, is a community-wide event sponsored by Prepared 4 Life (P4L). Amegy Bank of Texas is the title sponsor and Bagwell is the official spokesperson for Lemonade Day 2008.

Lemonade Day encourages young people to start, own and operate their own lemonade businesses.

P4L, which launched the first Lemonade Day on May 6, 2007, is a nonprofit organization that prepares middle school students for life by instilling life skills, character education, and entrepreneurship through experiential after school programs.
