Security guard accidentally shoots woman

HOUSTON Investigators say the guard was responding to a disturbance call at the Villa Madrid Apartments on Club Creek at Beechnut . He found a group of people who had been drinking, getting loud and disturbing others.

The guard asked the group to go inside. When the group approached the guard, he says he pulled out his gun with no intent to shoot, but it accidentally went off.

The Houston Police Department and district attorney's office will determine if any charges will be filed.
