"We try to make a couple per season," said Astros fan Tammy Wilkinson.
"About four or five a year," added Astros fan Dorothy Ford.
Prime lots are now charging $30 for event parking.
"It's crazy, but they're going to keep paying it," said Astros fan John Postel.
The city of Houston says it cannot legally regulate what private lots are charging. The manager of Merit Parking says supply and demand dictates a lot of it. And some fans believe as Houston keeps growing, the prices will, too.
"Everything's changing. Everything's getting bigger, so with things getting bigger, prices are going up," said Astros fan Yadi Rodriguez.
