Aeros title hopes start in Rockford

HOUSTON The Aeros will tangle with the Rockford IceHogs in a best-of-7 series to get the AHL postseason underway. Houston secured the third seed in the West with a thrilling shootout win over Milwaukee Sunday. Rockford finished just ahead of Houston as the second d seed.

The first two games will be in Rockford, followed by three in Houston, and two more, if needed, back in Rockford. The dates and times for the Houston games have not been set yet.

This will be the first ever playoff meeting between Houston and Rockford.
